We have this project fore quite a number of reasons; ranging from economic advantages to nutritional advantages. The nutritional advantages Fresh milk every day are obvious, especially for growing children are great. One cow can produce up to 10 gallons of milk a day. Dairy animals can also be a dependable source of income, as extra milk can be sold to raise money for school fees, clothes, and medical expenses. Help an impoverished family in Uganda by buying a cow and calf and make a difference.
When you buy a cow it will be named after you or your loved one. So far the Ministry has 5 old cows and 3 young ones which we have given out to some mothers to take care of the am and earn living. We help them value the resources they already have: their land, their families, their communities and capacities. Together, with the communities we intend to build a vision of a better future. Then, through training in farming, and by tackling social issues such as gender inequality, we enable them to acquire both the hope and the skills to get there. We are well known for delivering distinctive programmes that blend gender equality and social development training, alongside farming systems and business development.
